As a Family Advocate, you can actively participate in our program's success. Your physical presence at events, competitions, and meetings helps create a supportive environment for our students. You demonstrate your commitment to their growth and development by attending and volunteering.

Furthermore, your financial contributions provide essential resources that enable us to enhance the educational experience for our students. Your generosity can help fund scholarships, purchase equipment, and materials, and support various initiatives that enrich their learning journey.
Mentorship
Cyber Bears need Mentors to compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition. This competition gives high school students and their adult mentors the opportunity to work and create together to solve a common problem. Teams of students are challenged to design, build, and program robots and compete for awards, while they also create a team identity, raise funds, hone teamwork skills, and advance respect and appreciation for STEM within the local community.
Two or more adult mentors are needed each competion Season. If you have technical and non-technical expertise and are willing and motivated to “coach” the team through the build and competition season apply to mentor the Cyber Bears Today!
Sponsorship
The CyberBears have an annual operating budget of approximately $50,000. The many parts we use to build our robots, materials needed to market our team, costs for travel, food and registration fees for competitions add up quickly. We are turning to family, friends and individual supporters as well as corporate sponsors to help us raise the money we need to have a team.
