5 Day Mobility Challenge

The goal of this challenge is to help you understand how your body moves or where it struggles so you can improve mobility, enhance performance, and reduce the risk of injury.

What is the 5 Day Mobility Challenge?

What is the 5 Day Mobility Challenge?

Day 1 - The Anatomy of Mobility

We explore the 3 bullies of the body Ankles Hips and Thoracic , how they can lead to the development of common muscle imbalances which can then restrict daily movement mobility and lead to an increase risk of injury.

Day 2 - The Range of Motion Challenge

We look into why having a good range of motion is important, and we test your flexibility and range of motion in different joints before deciding what to do with the information we get.

Day 3 - The Stability Challenge

Balance is important for many reasons. Todays exercises highlight how good balance can help prevent falls and injuries, improve posture, and increase overall mobility. Therefore, incorporating balance exercises into your fitness routine will allow you to maintain good balance and reduce the risk of injury.

Day 4 - The Core Strength Challenge

Core strength is important because a weak core can lead to muscle imbalances and increase the risk of injury. A lot of people are not aware how crucial core strength is for daily activities and sports performance, or that having a strong core can help improve posture, stability, balance, and mobility.

Day 5 - The Movement Analysis

Our task for today is to perform a functional movement screen, which involves performing a series of exercises to assess your movement patterns. Identifying areas of weakness or limitation in these exercises can help create a targeted plan to improve overall movement and reduce the risk of injury.
